The FIP PVC 3-way ball valve is available with imperial or metric solvent socket end connections, BSP, or flanged PN10/16, and with either EPDM or Viton seals. Where US specifications apply US imperial Sch80 solvent sockets, ASA150 flanges or NPT threaded end connections are available. In the USA the FIP electric ball valve range is known as the IPEX electric ball valve range.

This version is constructed in PVC with BSP female ends, Viton seals, and uses the 24-240V fail safe by battery back-up J+J J4CS BSR electric actuator, a plastic housed industrial weatherproof electrical actuator with a high standard specification. The J+J J4CS actuator is available with on-off, failsafe or modulating function from stock, and creates a reliable and durable PVC electric 3-way ball valve assembly.
