AVA EXApproved - Explosion Proof Valve Actuators for use in Zone 1 & 2 applications
The AVA smart EX actuator might just be the most compact, feature rich ATEX electric actuator in the market.
The team at AVA have been working behind the scenes for a number of months with the factory to launch the new EX Electric Actuator series. Initially it will cover the 20Nm torque requirements of our customers however this will be expanded into the 60Nm and 110Nm models very soon.
We are in the final stages of making the product ready for launch with official launch due soon. For initial interest in the product, please do not hesitate to contact our sales team.
The actuator will have an IP67 aluminium housing with EX rating, manual override, OLED screen with menu system and touch buttons for actuator setup. The actuator has an ISO 5211 platform with F03/04/05 x 14mm output drive.

Suitability
EX Zone 1: an area in which an explosive mixture is likely to occur in normal operation.
EX Zone 2: an area in which an explosive mixture is not likely to occur in normal operation and if it occurs it will exist only for a short time.
