Three way ball valve in L port or 3 Way T Port configuration
Three way ball valves have 3 ports and are used to either divert the flow or mix the flow between the 3 ports.
L port 3 way ball valves have a common port that diverts flow either to one side of the 3 way ball valve or the other, and isolates each side port from each other.
T port 3 way ball valves can be configured to connect any pair of ports, or all three. When pairs of ports are connected the flow is diverted and when all three ports are connected the flow is mixed.
