This AVOL stainless steel electric ball valve is a 3 piece direct mount with NPT screwed end connections fitted with a 24V AC/DC fail safe Smart AVA electric actuator. A 3 piece ball valve has a swing-out centre section allowing in-line maintenance. They provide a rugged and reliable, yet economic solution for automatic flow control - typically of chemicals, solvents, paints, water, oils and other media compatible with 316 stainless steel.
The compact yet powerful Smart AVA electric valve actuator is an electronic actuator that offers as standard:

A fail-safe AVA actuator uses energy stored in an internal capacitor to send the actuator to a pre-set position (fail closed, or fail open) on loss of power. The capacitor is charged whenever external power is available, and re-charges as soon as the power is restored after the capacitor's stored energy was used during a power outage
