Referred to as a cast iron ball valve but in practice it is a ductile iron ball valve,it provides a robust solution for a flanged ball valve application, typically conveying heavy fuel oils, gas and various grades of water, and with a Sun Yeh electric actuator fitted, they create an economic automatic isolating flanged ball valve.
All Valves offer a flanged 2 way cast iron electric ball valve range that is designed for automation with an integrally cast ISO:5211 actuator mounting pad, this version has a stainless ball and stem, flanged according to ANSI 150 and fitted with the SY 240VAC on-off electric actuator.
For gas applications an EN331 gas approved electric ball valve with a brass ball and stem is offered, fitted with an OM electric actuator.
