This AVOL stainless steel electric ball valve range offers a 3 piece hygienic ball valve with cavity filled PTFE seats and clamp ends, and is supplied fitted with a fail safe Smart AVA electric actuator. They provide a rugged and reliable, yet economic solution for automatic flow control - for hygienic media compatible with 316 stainless steel and PTFE. A 3 piece ball valve has a swing-out centre section allowing in-line maintenance of the ball, seats and seals.

The compact yet powerful Smart AVA electric valve actuator is an electronic actuator that offers as standard:

OLED Screen and external push button user interface | local controls | electronic end position adjustment | speed control to increase working time | 3 position setting |multi-voltage capability | IP67 fully weatherproof light weight ABS housing local visual and volt free electric remote end position confirmation | anti-condensation heater | Models 20 & 50 are pre-wired with a 0.8m long (as standard, options available) multi-color multi-core connecting cable | can be operated manually in an emergency.

This electrically actuated ball valve is fail safe, whereby energy is stored in an internal capacitor and uses the stored energy to drive the actuator to a pre-set 'safe' position should external power be lost. The capacitor is charged whenever external power is available.
