Electric ball valve using a full bore gas approved cast iron ball valve with a brass ball and stem, fitted with a compact 24V on-off AVA electric actuator from stock and fully function tested prior to shipping by the actuated valve specialists at All Valves Online.
Referred to as a cast iron ball valve but in practice it is a ductile iron ball valve,it provides a robust solution for a flanged ball valve application, typically conveying heavy fuel oils, gas and various grades of water, and with an AVA electric actuator fitted, they create an economic automatic isolating flanged ball valve.
All Valves offer a flanged 2 way EN331 gas approved cast iron electric ball valve range that is designed for automation with an integrally cast ISO:5211 actuator mounting pad, this version has a brass ball and stem, flanged according to PN16, fitted with the compact 24V on-off AVA electric actuator.
The instantly recognisable orange and gray AVA electric actuator is compact yet robust and reliable and is available in 2 variants, a Basic and a Smart Series. The AVA Basic Series offers a minimal specification aimed at reducing the cost of the electrical actuator, and has local visual and electric remote end position confirmation, an anti-condensation heater and an emergency hand operation facility.
The AV Smart Series is an electronic actuator and has an unrivalled standard feature list that includes an OLED screen and push button user interface that offers local controls and minor parameter adjustments, as well as the usual position confirmation, heater and emergency hand operation.
