This AVOL stainless steel electric ball valve range has BSP screwed end connections and is offered with a 2 piece ball valve fitted with a Basic AVA electric actuator. They provide a rugged and reliable, yet economic solution for automatic flow control - typically of chemicals, solvents, paints, water, oils and other media compatible with 316 stainless steel.
The compact yet powerful Basic AVA electric valve actuator offers fully weatherproof IP67 ingress protection, light weight ABS housing, local visual and volt free electric remote end position confirmation, anti-condensation heater and is pre-wired with a 0.8m long (as standard, options available) multi-color multi-core connecting cable, and can be operated manually in an emergency.
This electrically actuated ball valve offers 24V AC/DC power open power close (on-off) function, and will fail to a pre-set 'safe' position (fail closed, or fail open) should external power be lost.
The AVA Basic fail safe electric actuator charges an internal capacitor when external power is applied, and uses the energy stored in the capacitor to drive the AVA actuator to the fail safe position should external power be lost.
